Russian philosopher and propagandist Alexander Dugin burst into angry remarks about the popular cartoon image of Cheburashka in Russia. On his own page on the social network on January 18, he wrote that the country needs the revival of “Tradition” and “Cheburashka is some kind of dementia.”
Dugin admitted that his opinion differs from the point of view of others. According to him, Russia needs to revive traditional values that were lost almost 100 years ago, and Cheburashka is not part of them.
“I understand that I'm going against everyone, but Cheburashka is not at all what Russia needs. We don't need Cheburashka, it's some kind of dementia. We need an awakening and a full-fledged revival of the Tradition – almost completely lost, severely cut off a hundred years ago” , — the philosopher wrote.
In his opinion, with such images, Russia will not be able to win in the geopolitical arena.
“We cannot win with Cheburashka,” summed up the ideologist of the “Russian world”.
Note that a family comedy was filmed in Russia with the participation of the popular cartoon character of the Soviet era “Cheburashka”. According to Russian media, the work of director Dmitry Dyachenko has become the highest-grossing film in Russia in its history of film distribution.
Journalists report that the total collection of the picture amounted to 3,528,556,464 rubles (1,889,135,828 hryvnias). In the first weekend alone, the film collected 1,372,705,877 rubles (734,925,990 hryvnias).
On September 20, Dugin said that the world is on the verge of World War III, and the West is openly at war with Russia. According to him, the probability of a global nuclear catastrophe is increasing every day.
