Most of the collection is powerful American cars of the 50s and 60s. The most expensive is the $500,000 Plymouth Hemi Cuda coupe.

Michael and Delaney Maury from the US state of Michigan decided to make a gift to their alma mater. They donated 35 rare retro cars to Northwood University. This is reported by the Carscoops website.
The total cost of all cars is about $ 2 million. Thus, Michael Morey decided to thank the university, because the knowledge gained there helped him organize a woodworking business in 1987 and subsequently become a millionaire.
< p>The collection includes mostly American cars. Most of all, it has powerful Chevrolets of the 50s and 60s – Corvette, Impala, Bel Air and Camaro of different years of production.
The most expensive car is the 1970 Plymouth Cuda with 425-horsepower 7.0- liter V8 Hemi – it costs at least half a million dollars. Also valuable are the Dodge Challenger with the same Hemi engine and the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. In addition, the collection includes vintage Ford V8 hot rods from the 30s, Pontiac GTO and Firebird, Plymouth GTX Hemi.

Northwood University will put up almost all cars for the Mecum charity auction, and the proceeds will be used to renovate the campus. They decided to leave only the 1958 Chevrolet Corvette – it will be exhibited on the campus.
