Émile Simard, a young university from the borough of La Baie, wants to represent the Parti Québécois (PQ) in the riding of Dubuc.
The one who is regional president of the young PQ has collected enough signatures to solicit this role from the members of the PQ. The nomination period ends on July 17. If other candidates come forward by then, the party will decide on a date to hold a nomination meeting.
If chosen, Émile Simard wants in particular defending the use of French in Cégep and the application of Bill 101 in college establishments. According to him, those who think that this is not a regional issue are wrong.
