A replica of the iconic sports car is based on the Honda City. The body of the car has already been completed, but the engine and interior need some work.

Classic Porsches make the hearts of many car enthusiasts around the world beat faster, but not everyone can afford them. An enthusiast from India built a budget replica of the rare 356 Speedster from scratch at home. The result of the work was shown on the Talking Cars YouTube channel.
Before proceeding to create a replica of the Porsche 356 Speedster, the enthusiast studied the original model in detail. He planned the assembly of the model and chose the “donor”.
The sports car replica is built on the basis of a compact Honda City sedan with an automatic transmission. To install the engine at the rear, the engineer created a special frame. The car's suspension was built from scratch.
To create the bodywork, an enthusiast found a 3D image of the original Porsche 356 Speedster. It was made of fiberglass, and the whole work took four years.
The result was incredible. Many motorists and passers-by do not immediately realize that this is not a real Porsche 356 Speedster in front of them. Nevertheless, the creator of the car plans to make it even better.
