The International Song Contest Eurovision 2023, which will be held in the UK, will be held on behalf of Ukraine. This was announced by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on his Twitter.
According to him, last week he had a telephone conversation with Vladimir Zelensky and agreed that wherever the competition was held, he would honor Ukraine and the Ukrainian people.
“Zelensky and I have agreed that wherever Eurovision 2023 is held, it should be dedicated to the country and people of Ukraine. Since we are the hosts, the UK will fulfill this promise directly – and will host a fantastic competition on behalf of our Ukrainian friends,” Johnson wrote.
