The Finnish rock band The Rasmus, which this year represented Finland at Eurovision, together with the winners of the Kalush Orchestra, presented the promised collaboration – the song In the Shadows of Ukraine. The news about this appeared on the Instagram of the Eurovision winners.

The composition was based on the already well-known song of The Rasmus In the Shadows, which became a hit back in 2003.

“This is very interesting for we are a project, and this is our position. We want to support Ukraine, which feels injustice towards itself. The song is filled with faith in the future of Ukraine,” said Lauri Yljenen, leader of The Rasmus.

The video clip posted on YouTube is already through a few hours collected more than 100 thousand views.

Finnish and Ukrainian musicians met this spring in Turin, where the Eurovision Song Contest was held. Together they walked around Turin, arranged a joint performance and agreed on cooperation.

The Kalush Orchestra sold their prize received at the competition at an auction for 900 thousand dollars, and all the money was transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
