It is very likely that this is the only Renault R8 in Ukraine, although the C-class model was quite massive: from 1962 to 1976, about 1.5 million of these sedans were produced. In addition to France, the model was produced in 11 other countries of the world, and the assembly was even established by socialist Bulgaria (like the Bulgarrenault 8) and Romania (like the Dacia 1100).

The car, about 4 m long, has an original angular design. Its design is very interesting. First, the engine is located at the rear. At first, the sedan was equipped with a 1.0-liter 44-horsepower engine, and in 1964 a 1.1-liter 50-horsepower Renault 8 Major appeared. Then they added sports variants of Gordini with a capacity of 90-100 hp. s., capable of developing 180 km/h.
