The new Fiat 500e received a charged version from Abarth. For the first time, the sporty variant of the compact urban model is electric. Details of the novelty were revealed on the official website of the Stellantis concern.
Abarth has been tuning the Fiat 500 and other models of the brand since 1949, but first took up the electric car. The power of the Abarth 500e engine was increased from 117 to 155 hp. with., and the torque increased from 220 to 235 N∙m.
The Fiat 500e Abarth electric car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7 seconds, and from 40 to 60 km/h in just 1.5 seconds. In addition, a special synthesizer has appeared that imitates the sound of a gasoline engine exhaust. Traditionally, Abarth has improved the suspension and brakes of the car.
The 42 kWh battery has not changed. The range is about 300 km, and charging the electric car to 80% takes 35 minutes.
You can recognize the new Fiat 500e Abarth by the modified front end, body kit and extended fenders. In addition, the roof spoiler has been enlarged and 18-inch wheels have been installed. The interior has a sports steering wheel and seats trimmed with Alcantara, and the trim of the front panel imitates carbon.
The Abarth 500e package is very rich – keyless entry, climate control, light and rain sensors, all-round cameras, wireless charging for smartphones.
