Fireworks in the crowd during a concert: the police are looking for a man

Nam Ton is wanted by police.

Toronto police are looking for a 29-year-old man who allegedly set fires fireworks in the crowd inside Scotiabank Arena in Toronto during a Dua Lipa concert last week.

Nam Ton is wanted for allegedly committing mischief that causes real danger to people's lives.

He is 167cm (5 '6”), is of medium build and has dark hair down to the collar. Officers believe he is driving a white Honda CRV with registration CTYV 147.

Officers said at the time that the fireworks injured three people. They were lit at the end of Dua Lipa's performance, as she was about to leave the stage. Videos of the incident show fans running on the floor to avoid being hit.

Police say a search warrant executed in a Toronto residence resulted in the discovery of a quantity of explosives, but no further details were provided.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200.
