The five-door Suzuki Jimny was lengthened by 34 cm. This allowed the SUV to be more spacious and increase its trunk.

The long-awaited five-door version has replenished the Suzuki Jimny 2023 line. A compact family SUV was presented at the Auto Expo in New Delhi. This is reported by the official website of the Japanese brand.
The new Suzuki Jimny 5 door will be produced in India and will go on sale there from May. The model should enter the European market before the end of this year.
The elongated Suzuki Jimny retains its familiar angular design and differs from its short brother only in an additional pair of doors and narrow windows. It is about 34 cm longer than the standard model.

Of course, the five-door model has become more spacious inside, but it remains a four-seater, because the rear sofa of the car is narrow. The trunk of the Suzuki Jimny has also been enlarged. Another innovation in the cabin is an improved multimedia system with a 9-inch touchscreen.
In India, the new Suzuki Jimny will continue to be equipped with a 1.5-liter 105-horsepower gasoline engine, but for Europe it will be supplemented with a “soft ” with a hybrid setup from the new Suzuki Grand Vitara (this will raise the power to 116 hp).
A choice of 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmissions will be offered. All versions will receive all-wheel drive with a low gear.
