Facing a team from Departmental 3, the Vauverdois, who play in Regional 1, did not have to force their talent too much to win. Midi Libre – Alejandro Cortes
Facing Quissac, a team from Departmental 3, FC Vauvert, resident of Regional 1, behaved like the boss, Sunday, in the 32nd final of the Gard-Lozère Cup
By scoring two goals per half, Vauvert (R1) did the job seriously, Sunday January 5, in Quissac (D3).
The Quissacois are the first in action with a free kick that passes in front of the entire FCV defense without finding a taker (2nd). The rest is a large domination of the Camargue. The Quissac block falls back to the edge of its surface and suffers the siege of Vauverdois.

FCV's attacks continued one after the other. Bensaid's volley was deflected onto the crossbar (7th). Abbaoui's sharp strike also crashed onto the bar (19th). With rakes, hooks and feints, Bidjou, Vauvert's leader, displayed his full range of technique and opened the scoring with a superb curling shot (0-1, 24th). Shortly before the break, the unfortunate Dany Doyen scored an own goal (0-2, 39th).
In the second half, Abdnabi Hammouch rotated the players without it harming his team's performance. “Everyone has a chance. It's our strength and the best way to keep everyone involved”, says the FCV coach.
Bonne's double
With Maqrache, from 25m, Quissac sounds the charge from the restart, in vain (47th). Vauvert controls and Bonne seals the victory for his team by scoring twice, first missed at the far post (0-3, 51st), then taking advantage of a defensive error (0-4, 61st). “In the second half, I moved to centre forward to run a little more, smiled the Vauvert defender at the end of the game. I didn't come close to a hat-trick…”
Quissac has the opportunity to save face but Taboni's shot, at the end of a solitary raid, is much too crossed (74th).
