“It's a major event of the year in Bagnols-sur-Cèze and it's up to young people to take it over”, says the principal of the Sainte-Marie high school, Jean-Marc Gucciardi. The Youth and Business Meetings will take place on Saturday, February 1 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Bagnols multicultural hall. This event, supported by the Campus des métiers et des qualifications d’excellence and the association le Collectif, creates a link between the world of work and that of young people looking for a professional future. The two high schools in Bagnols (Sainte-Marie and Albert-Einstein), the City, France Travail, the Mission locale jeunes (MLJ), the CIO and the Agglo are associated with this 7th edition.
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000Like every year, during a morning, young people have the opportunity to discover around forty local companies. “We do it at this time because it is the beginning of the orientation phase for young people. It gives them a first idea of what is offered in our territory, explains Corine Negre, operational director of the Campus des métiers. For three years, we have noticed that there are also 4th and 3rd year students who come to the RJE. They are already asking themselves questions about their orientation.”
The meeting is part of the nuclear week. The UMN (University of Nuclear Professions) will present all of the subsidiary's professions. While historically the RJEs bring together many companies from the industry, the event is increasingly opening up to other sectors (commerce, health, tertiary, tourism, army, etc.).“We are relaunching the companies that were there during the previous editions and we are trying to supplement them with professions that we did not have in order to present the widest possible range”, explains Rémy Jennepin, member of the Collective's office. “There is a great deal of diversity”, adds Frédéric Combernous, the director of the MLJ of Gard rhodanien Uzège.
While the visitors are mainly young people from Gard rhodanien, the RSE also want to open up to neighboring departments (Vaucluse, Drôme and Ardèche). “There are many companies that have jobs in demand and need to recruit”, says Corine Negre. Even if the event “is not a job-dating”, young people looking for a work-study program can still submit a CV. Nearly 300 people are expected for the half-day.
