Les travaux pour conforter la structure souterraine du parking Gambetta se dérouleront du 6 janvier au 16 mars prochain.

It is called by Michaël Delafosse: “The cursed parking lot”. And to say that the Gambetta parking lot, located under the eponymous Cours, is aptly named, is an understatement. Dangerous during severe weather, the underground structure has shown great fragility, even threatening to collapse at the Dôme, where lines 3 and 5 separate.

Too much pressure

Too much weight and a bend exerting too much pressure require major consolidation work. Work that was not planned! It will take place from January 6 to March 16. And will require cutting line 3 between the Jules Guesde and Observatoire stops. A hard blow for local residents and shopkeepers and all those who use the line. It is the biggest hassle of the construction site, according to specialists.
