French comedy "Fly With Me" hits big screens

On July 28, the touching French comedy Fly with me about friendship will be released in Ukraine on July 28 without social and generational boundaries.

According to the plot, a young major named Thomas spends his nights in clubs, and days – in the bed. His father, tired of the guy's tricks, makes his son take care of one of his patients, 12-year-old Marcus. When fate brings them together, the lives of both will change forever.

The director's chair was taken by Christophe Barratier — French musician and film director, whose debut film The Chorusers received two Oscar nominations and is one of the most successful and highly acclaimed debuts in French cinema. Barratier also has two BAFTA nominations, three – on Cesar, one – on Goya.

The main role in the film is played by Victor Belmondo — grandson of the famous Jean-Paul Belmondo, the star of the French New Wave films, who passed away in 2021. For the successor of the acting dynasty, this is the first major role in his career.

Also, the winner of two awards Cesar Gerard Lanvin (Favorite son, For someone else's taste) plays in the film.
