French musicians covered Okean Elzy's hit

Profit from the release will be donated to UNICEF to help children who are suffering from the consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

French musicians from the D'IKKEN studio released a cover of the song by the Ukrainian band Okean Elzy Vesna, which was released in January of this year, a few weeks before the start of a full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine. The cover is called Vesna Mirabeau. It was created with the support of UNICEF. The video was published on YouTube.

“We drew attention to the OE song with the poetic name Spring, which mentions the outstanding French artists Apollinaire, Verlaine, Rimbaud. Unfortunately, the spring of 2022, instead of the promise of renewal, brought a full-scale war to Ukraine , which shocked all Europeans, causing a wide movement of solidarity across the continent. We also joined,” the French musicians from Studio D'IKKEN noted.

The French turned to the Ukrainian group in the summer with a proposal to create a new version of the song as a special project to collect aid for Ukrainian children.

“Vesna-Mirabeau is intended to become an anthem of solidarity with the children of Ukraine and a bridge to help the innocent victims of the war,” Okean Elzy commented.
