Still, an amazing theory could explain why the Central Perk sofa is still available. Indeed, as pointed out Screenrant in a recent article, it is the love that Gunther has (James Michael Tyler) to Rachel who allows her friends to enjoy this incomparable comfort in the New York jungle. And for good reason, the manager of the cafe made sure to reserve the table every day in the hope of meeting his beautiful, after she left her job as a waitress in season 3. A theory reinforced by the fact that we can see a small “reserved” sign placed on the table facing the sofa in several episodes. Which would then explain how the six friends always find themselves sitting there, whether the cafe is crowded or not. What do you think ? Also find out which episode of Friends was rated the lowest in the entire series by fans.
