    According to the Minister of Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Chernyshev, 581 heating facilities were damaged as a result of the war in Ukraine. The country needs diesel generators, house heaters, water treatment and pumping stations.

    Germany will allocate 20 million euros to Ukraine for the purchase of equipment to eliminate the consequences of Russian missile strikes on critical infrastructure. Oleksiy Chernyshov, Minister for the Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, wrote about this on Facebook.

    The minister noted that this was the result of agreements at a meeting with Steffi Lemke, Minister of the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Rights Protection of Germany.< /p>

    According to Chernyshev, Ukraine and Germany will finalize these agreements in the near future.

    Alexey Chernyshev also noted the discussion in Germany of assistance to internally displaced persons. First of all, in his opinion, communities need mobile diesel generators, electric in-house heaters, thermal power plants, water treatment and pumping stations.

    “It was important for us to hear the opportunity to rely on partners' help in passing through a difficult winter period”, the minister said.

    The head of the Ukrainian ministry added that Russian troops damaged 581 heating facilities, almost half of which were restored.

    The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development wants to provide Kyiv with up to 3 billion euros to help Ukrainian business and economy. The money should be used to restore energy and food security, infrastructure and the pharmaceutical industry.

    The Kyiv School of Economics has calculated that Ukraine has suffered more than $127 billion in damage from a full-scale war with Russia by September. Housing infrastructure suffered the most.
