What can you do with mushroom peelings?
According to the portal “Gourmets”, many of us prepare dishes with mushrooms, throw out the peelings of these mushrooms. This is quite a mistake. How to use mushroom peelings?
Washed mushroom peelings can be successfully used in several different ways. After frying them in a frying pan with a little fat (preferably butter), we can add them to the casseroles. During frying, we can also add a little soy sauce and sugar to them, thanks to which we will get an aromatic base for which we will prepare a meatless broth.
It is enough to add water and other vegetables to the base. We cook everything together and it's ready. Thanks to the addition of mushroom peelings, our broth will not only taste with mushrooms, but will also have a deep color. You can even add a small amount to a stubborn broth.
To prepare the broth base you will need:
peelings of a p & oacute; one kilogram of mushrooms,
1/4 butter cubes,
1 teaspoon of sugar,
1 tablespoon of light soy sauce,
a pinch of white pepper.
For what can you still use mushroom peelings?
Mushroom shells with roasted onions will be a great addition to both casseroles and pizzas. We can also add them to rice dishes such as risotto, groats, as well as to mushroom sauces.
