How much will the indexation of pensions and pensions in 2023 be?
According to the “Super Express” portal, the Central Tax Office informed about the inflation rate in 2022. Based on this data, benefit inflation was projected to be 14.8 percent, higher than the government's 13.8 percent target. This is how much pension benefits for seniors will increase. This is not the end of good news for seniors.
The government has provided for an indexation rate of 13.8 percent in the budget act. According to the data of the Central Statistical Office, it is higher and amounts to 14.8 percent. For pensioners, this means a higher indexation of the benefits paid to them by ZUS.

Thirteenth and fourteenth pension
The March indexation will not be the only cash injection that seniors can count on in 2023. With the April benefit, seniors will receive an allowance in the form of the thirteenth pension. It is paid to everyone ex officio, and due to the lack of an income threshold, everyone will receive it in the same amount.
Seniors will receive PLN 1,445 per hand. No application is required to enjoy this money.
The government also announces that seniors will get fourteen this year. In the case of this add-on, there was an income threshold so far. Seniors located in it received the full amount of fourteen (this year it will be PLN 1,445). In the case of pensioners whose benefit exceeds the accepted limit, the supplement was reduced on the basis of the “PLN for PLN” rule.
I in this case it is not necessary to submit an application. The allowance will be paid automatically.
Do you think the indexation will be able to keep up with rising prices?
