Grey’s Anatomy season 17: Here is the proof that Teddy is not worse than Derek, Alex and the others

Teddy takes it all in the face in season 17 of Gray’s Anatomy, but is it really deserved?

A few days after we returned to this character who has the most unfair treatment of the 17 seasons of Grey’s Anatomy – in our opinion of course – we are talking this time about another character who is not at the height of his popularity: Teddy Altman. As fans know, the surgeon is going through a rough patch after cheating on Owen and with Tom, and several characters made it clear to him which side they are on. If we do not defend Teddy’s infidelities in any way, we believe that the writers still treat her in a particularly cruel way, to the point of making her an ultra annoying character for the fans.

Yet Teddy is far from the first to have cheated on her partner, and if this is why some fans hate her, one wonders if they have reserved the same fate for Alex who cheated on Izzie, Derek who has cheated on Addison, George who cheated on Callie, Arizona who cheated on Callie etc. Yes, even if the writers are there to play on the narration, Teddy’s actions are nowhere near as hateful as some of the actions of other characters, yet she is clearly the one in the fans’ sights right now. Since Grey’s Anatomy is known for writing complex characters, so hopefully that will change in the next few episodes.

While it’s clear that Teddy is at fault in this whole thing, that she should have told Owen the truth about Allison, and that she shouldn’t have cheated on him with Tom, cheating is rife throughout. Grey’s Anatomy. On the other hand, it seems clear that Teddy has feelings for both Tom and Owen, which raises the often-raised question of the possibilities of being in love with several people at the same time. In short, once again Teddy’s infidelities are not excusable, but if we had to rank the characters from more to less moral, she would certainly not end up at the bottom of the scale … While waiting to know what the sequel has in store for him, we wondered if Derek, Mark, Addison and Teddy could have already crossed paths in New York well before season 17 of Gray’s Anatomy.
