Shots leave one dead and one injured in Calgary

Police infrared image shows suspect sought after shots fired in Calgary Friday and Saturday.

Calgary Police are looking for suspect after shots of fire which left one seriously injured on Friday in the Castleridge district and one dead on Saturday in the Falconridge district.

The first victim was shot at around 7 a.m. on Friday .

The second victim died around 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

Investigators believe the same suspect is responsible for the armed attacks.

They describe him as a light-skinned man in his 20s or early 30s. He had on a hoodie, a black bandana, a black cap and a black backpack.

He is thin and about 1.70m tall.

Suspect appears armed and dangerous, police say. She asks the public to stay away from it and to call 911 if they see it or have any relevant information.
