While the man was due to be tried for the murder of his wife in early January in Brétigny-sur-Orge, Marvin C. committed suicide on the night of Friday to Saturday, January 25.

He will therefore not be tried. According to information from the Parisien, Marvin C. allegedly committed suicide during the night of Friday to Saturday, January 25. His partner beaten to death

The man was arrested on the night of January 7 to 8. His partner Sandy had been beaten to death, in front of their 4-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son. The autopsy revealed “craniofacial trauma with intracranial bleeding and a fractured larynx” caused by “the very numerous blows to the head”.

The man was also already known to the courts for “drunk driving”, for“violence by ascendant”, and for “group violence”.
