Ten months ago, AS Fabrègues came to put three on the old carpet of Jacou, thus validating its ticket for a final won against Frontignan (0-0, 0-3 tab, on May 8). Since then, Jacou-Clapiers has been promoted to Départemental 1 (currently second), while Fabrègues is still fighting to stay in Régional 1. This time, Rayan Oller's partners took their revenge and beat the reigning champion, three divisions above, again at home (3-0).

From the start of the match, AS Fabrègues showed glaring signs of weakness in defense, Kévin Fiacre and Enzo Seimandi had the opportunity to open the scoring (4th, 8th). Finally, it was captain Rayan Oller, after a free kick well taken by Seimandi, who unblocked the situation in the area to score with a header (1-0, 15th). Despite many absences on Fabrègues' side, there were experienced players on the field who were transparent. In any case, they were not at their level.

A third goal while shorthanded

The two JCFA sentinels, Martin Ozorak and Amyne Collet, are not the most technically elegant, but they were very valuable in duels and recoveries. Overall, it was the entire Jacou-Clapiers team that showed more desire, determination, grit and self-denial to see the round of 16. While the game had stopped nearly ten minutes after Fabrègues' central defender Loris Delmas was injured, Boris Tanfin doubled the score after chipping Kenji Ferret from outside the box (2-0, 62nd).
