According to the official synopsis provided by Amazon Prime Video:

Fallout is the story of the haves and have-nots in a world where there is almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the kind inhabitants of the luxurious fallout shelters are forced to return to the incredibly complex, joyfully strange and extremely violent universe that awaits them above.

The series surprised by its quality. It perfectly adapts the video game saga to the screen and knows how to open up to all those who do not know the original games. Humor, action, suspense, this fiction does not make fun of the world.

The story of Shogun takes place in 1600 in a Japan in the grip of a major political crisis. While the national leader (taiko) has died, his descendant is too young to reign. A council of regents, composed of five lords, therefore takes the reins. The series focuses from the outset on one of them, Yoshii Toranaga, loyal to the future heir, and whom the other four members want to get rid of.

We won't tell you more about this jewel which is a total success both in substance and in form. A masterpiece that clearly won us over.

In this Apple TV+ production, we follow the adventures of John Sugar, a private detective who investigates the disappearance of Olivia Siegel, a young resident of Los Angeles who has not given any sign of life for two weeks. At first, we say to ourselves that we are dealing with a fairly classic thriller, but the story gains momentum and becomes more complex until it reaches a dimension that surprised the spectators.

We loved this creation which is truly out of the ordinary, notably thanks to the excellent performance of Colin Farrell.

Raphaël Valande intends to take advantage of the chance of a lifetime. He can shoot his first film: A resistant woman. The young filmmaker intends to pay tribute to his grandmother, Huguette, a resistance fighter with an admirable past.

Unfortunately, this shoot will turn sour and his setbacks are immortalized in a documentary that we discover little by little. This French production hits the mark thanks to the talent of Pierre Niney and a generation of actors who have reached maturity. The series can be enjoyed on Netflix.

In the midst of the Chinese Cultural Revolution in the 1960s, Ye Wenjie made a decision that would impact the deaths of scientists in the present.

This adaptation of Cixin Liu's novels by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the two showrunners of Game of Thrones on Netflix was one of the highlights of the series this first half of the year. We really liked this production that you should not miss under any circumstances as we explained to you last March:

Indeed, all the ingredients have come together to make it the phenomenon of the moment, with a complex and thrilling plot, a rich universe and talented actors. If you like science fiction, The 3-Body Problem is likely to appeal to you.

That's it for moment. For your part, did you particularly like a series released this year? Do not hesitate to share your advice in the comments.
