Waffle rolls

Ingredients:

  • Flour – 1 cup;
  • Margarine – 200 -205 gr (1 pack);
  • Chicken eggs (preferably large) – 5-6 pcs;
  • Sugar – 180 gr. (about a glass).

Cooking method:

Beat the eggs with sugar using a mixer or whisk to get a homogeneous lush mass. Add melted and well-chilled margarine or butter there. Margarine (or butter) should be of high quality and have a high fat content.

Mix the mass well, and then gradually start adding wheat flour. It should be introduced in small portions, stirring thoroughly. If you wish, you can experiment and partially use corn or oatmeal.

To make the tubes more fragrant, you can add a little vanilla or lemon juice.

Lubricate the heated electric waffle iron with oil once, no more. Pour a tablespoon of dough into the center of the heated surface and close the waffle iron. Slightly pressing down, hold the handles for a few seconds. This will help the dough to get the desired shape. Release the handles and bake the waffle for about a minute. Then you need to remove it and immediately roll it into a tube while hot or shape it into a bag. To do this, you can use special nozzles that come with modern electric waffle irons.

If desired, cream or boiled condensed milk can be added to the tubes.

Crispy egg-free waffles

Ingredients:

  • Water – 1.5 stack;
  • Corn oil (can be sunflower) – 80 ml;
  • Flour – 450 g;
  • Sugar – 1 stack;
  • Condensed milk – 400 ml;
  • Turmeric – a pinch;
  • Salt – 0.5 tsp;
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 sachet (10 g);
  • Baking soda – 1 g.

Preparation method:

Sift the flour and mix it with sugar, salt, vanilla sugar and turmeric. Then add corn oil, water and condensed milk in turn to this mixture, mix everything very well. At the end, add soda slaked with vinegar.

Pour a spoonful of dough onto a heated and oiled waffle iron and close it tightly. Bake 2-3 minutes. Hot waffles immediately twist into tubes and fill with boiled condensed milk or custard.
