The organizers of the action planted as many sunflowers in the center of New York as Ukraine has been fighting for its independence in a full-scale war with the Russian Federation for days.

An installation of several hundred sunflowers appeared in the center of New York, the creation of which was timed to coincide with the Day of the Unification of Ukraine. Information about this appeared on the page of the Unify Ukraine initiative.
Sunflowers were planted on Flatiron Plaza.
“We installed an installation of 335 sunflowers – one for each day when Russia occupied the country” , — said the organizers of the exhibition.
Note that they made a few mistakes with the number of flowers. Since January 22 is only the 333rd day of the full-scale aggression of the RF Armed Forces against Ukraine.
According to the organizers, everyone can visit the sunflower garden. Entrance to the installation is unlimited and free.
In addition, the organizers invite visitors to the exhibition to take pictures against the backdrop of hundreds of sunflowers and share photos on social networks. People are asked to publish a photo and thus express support for the millions of internally displaced persons and those Ukrainians who are now left at home in the country under attack by the Russian Armed Forces.
Focus also wrote that in December Aston Martin organized a charity auction in support of Ukraine. Sebastian Vettel's racing gloves and overalls, as well as elements of Formula 1 cars and souvenirs were put up for auction. The organizers donated the proceeds to the Ukrainian division of UNICEF.
