Hunter x Hunter: A new Tweet ignites the web

Since the announcement of the return of Hunter x Hunter, the Twitter account of Togami, author of the title, has been monitored by all members of the fan community. And it is precisely a new tweet that recently ignited the web.

That was just two weeks ago. Togashi appeared on the social network Twitter and published his first tweet. This one quickly set the web on fire since it was the announcement that everyone had been waiting for for almost four years: the return of Hunter x Hunter. Since then, the mangaka has apparently had fun sharing the progress of his work. Several days ago, it’s a new tweet that once again fired up fans. Togashi indeed shared on Twitter a more than promising update by revealing that he would have reached chapters 17, 18 and 19.

To date, the break of which is set to release Hunter x Hunter has been the longest ever in manga. Upon returning from his previous hiatus several years ago, Togashi explained that he aims to produce ten new chapters each time he returns. However, the author’s latest tweets tell us that this time around he went well beyond that quota. A good reason for fans to rejoice.

Hunter x Hunter: Still too little information about the return of the series

For the time being, we do not yet have very little information about the return of the series. Indeed, neither the Japanese publisher Shueisha nor Togashi himself have yet revealed when or under what conditions Hunter x Hunter will be back. Although at least 19 storyboards seem to have been completed, it is more than likely that a huge amount of work will still be needed before they are published. However, it is possible that the manga will be back before the end of the year. Moreover, since his arrival on Twitter, Togashi has become the most followed mangaka on the social network, a real feat that demonstrates the fans' enthusiasm for his return.
