Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of Hydro-Québec, Éric Filion, joins his former boss at Bombardier.< /p>
Bombardier President and CEO Éric Martel, who formerly led Hydro-Québec, announced on Monday that Mr. Filion would join its management team.
Éric Filion will assume the role of Vice President, Programs and Supply Chains – a new position within the company.
In his new role, Mr. Filion will #x27;will take care of the company's relationships with its suppliers and the continuous improvement of the aircraft. It's a homecoming for him, who had previously led operational and program activities at Bombardier.

Last week, Mr. Filion caused a surprise by announcing his departure from x27;Hydro-Quebec. The news came a few weeks after the announcement of the departure of President and CEO Sophie Brochu.
In the wake of these departures, the opposition parties to Quebec expressed concern about the future of the Crown corporation, with some questioning Minister Pierre Fitzgibbon's role in the events of recent weeks.
