The new Hyundai Grandeur has grown in size and has a non-standard futuristic design. The sedan will be offered in versions ranging from 198 to 300 hp. p.
The first official photos of the seventh generation Hyundai Grandeur have been published. The large E-Class sedan will go on sale from early 2023, with the Lexus ES, Toyota Avalon and Volvo S90 being its main competitors. Details of the car were revealed on the official website of Hyundai.
The new Hyundai Grandeur 2023 (in some countries the model is sold under the name Azera) is built on the modern N3 platform, like the Tucson and Santa Fe crossovers. The sedan has grown in size – its length has exceeded 5 meters, and the wheelbase has reached 2895 mm.
The avant-garde futuristic design is made in the spirit of the Hyundai Staria minivan. The car has a huge grille and a thin diode strip across the entire width of the body. Smooth lines have been replaced by edges.
In the interior of the Hyundai Grandeur 2023, the original steering wheel and two large displays on the front panel attract attention. Another screen replaces the climate control switches. Parking assist and semi-autonomous driving have been added to the list of options.
The characteristics of the Hyundai Grandeur have not yet been disclosed. It is expected that the sedan will receive 2.5-liter (198 hp) and 3.5-liter (300 hp) petrol engines, as well as a 230-liter hybrid version.
