Cyril Hanouna is used to transparency. Whether on his show Touche pas à mon poste or on the air ofEurope 1, he prefers to say things clearly. This Wednesday, January 15, he announced that he had met Edouard Philippe a few days ago. But what happened ? “I was quietly at the restaurant. I was having lunch with a person who works in the media,”, the host begins. As he is about to leave, he confides that he has “seen a person looking at me, staring at me. I see that this person knows me”.
The person in question was Christian Jacob, whom the host likes very much. However, the story does not end there. “I see, at a table next to it, Edouard Philippe”, he continues before confessing: “After what happened last week, I crossed paths with him”. So Cyril Hanouna decided to “not be a hypocrite” and, as he goes to say hello to Edouard Philippe, he immediately says: “I smashed you last week at the antenna”.

Cyril Hanouna openly declared to his interlocutor that he had made derogatory remarks about him. Not enough to destabilize him since he then reproached him “for going everywhere and not coming to my house”, he said. But how did the main person concerned react ? For his part, the host declared that he was convinced that Edouard Philippe did not recognize him. “He must have wondered who this madman was but he was very nice”, he had fun.
Cyril Hanouna opted for frankness, affirming however that he is convinced that the former Prime Minister did not recognize him at the time. “I think that afterwards, Christian Jacob must have told him that it was me”, he said before returning to the remarks made on air a few days earlier. “I think he didn't have the information that I had spoken of him last week, the host continues, adding: “I had never met him in real life so maybe he didn't realize it was me and he was very nice ”. A speech that Cyril Hanouna concludes by declaring that he invites Edouard Philippe to come on the air.
Cyril Hanouna: “He lost his corones”
A few days ago, Cyril Hanouna émentioned the upcoming presidential elections. For him, Edouard Philippe would not be an ideal candidate at all. “Oh, but stop with Édouard Philippe! Those who have nothing to say say Édouard Philippe!” , he got carried away. Which deeply annoyed him since he then added : “If you continue like this, we will end up with him as the next president”. A heated debate since Cyril Hanouna did not share the same opinion as his columnists and he let them know it.
Cyril Hanouna was frank. For him, Edouard Philippe could not become the new president of the Republic. “It's better to have Emmanuel Macron than Édouard Philippe, I tell you! Emmanuel Macron, in this segment, is better than Gabriel Attal and Édouard Philippe! Better than him, frankly!”, he declared. While the host seemed to be very upset, the columnists immediately asked him if he had something against Edouard Philippe. “I have nothing against him, I don't know him and I love the city hall of Le Havre, and I really like Laurent Ruquier, who comes from Le Havre, who is a friend. So there you have it, to tell you, Le Havre ticks all the boxes!” , concluded Cyril Hanouna.
