The British have collected a collection of expensive retro cars that have nowhere to park. I had to turn to neighbors for help and park cars in their yards.
In British Birmingham there is a street where dozens of Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Mercedes-Benz are parked. Moreover, there are luxury cars in one of the poorest and most criminogenic areas of the city. The Sun writes about this.
All these cars belong to two brothers Bugsy and Shukat Ali. They have been collecting and selling vintage cars for years. The British collected several dozen expensive premium cars, and bought them cheaply.
Representative Rolls-Royce and Bentley of different years of production predominate in the Ali brothers' collection. They even recently purchased two Rolls Royce Silver Spirits that belonged to the British royal family. They paid £70,000 ($79,000) for each, although their real price is about £200,000 ($225,000).
In addition, a rare 1961 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman, several Porsches and Maserati are parked on the street . At first, the cars were stored in the yard of the Ali brothers' house, but very soon there was no free space left.
The collectors decided to park their cars on the street, but there is a fee for parking and they had to pay £600 a month. Then the brothers went to the neighbors – they asked them to park cars near their houses. Since the area is poor, not everyone has a car and there are enough free parking spaces in the area.
The neighbors did not mind – they are pleased to see a Rolls-Royce or Bentley under with their windows. In addition, the Ali brothers often drive their neighbors in luxury cars and help them in every possible way.
