In a strict manner. Elena Zelenskaya appeared on the cover of Saturday magazine

In an interview with British journalists, the first lady told how the war separated her from her husband, like many families in Ukraine.

First lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya appeared on the cover of Saturday of the British edition of The Guardian. At a photo session taken at the Office of the President, her husband, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, got into one of the pictures. The cover photo was published in the official Instagram account of the first lady.

Elena Zelenskaya posed in a brown button-down midi dress and black pumps. In the photo, the first lady has discreet makeup and loose wavy curls.

Next to Zelenskaya, in the picture you can see a military man sitting on a chair with a weapon – probably the bodyguard of the president's wife. The photo was taken by French artist Antoine D'Agata.

In other pictures, Elena Zelenskaya posed in a gray outfit that almost blended into the room in the President's Office. Next to the first lady, you can see bags that protect the room in case of explosions. In one of the photos, we managed to capture a touching moment — Volodymyr Zelensky briefly took his wife’s hand and ran on.

In an interview, the President's wife again spoke about the first day of the war, as well as about how her family lives now and how often children communicate with their father.

“We hope to see each other more often soon, but now I don't think it's possible,” Zelenskaya said.

The First Lady also remembered that the children on the first day of the war behaved very well, were collected and obedient.

“Usually you have to tell them a million times, but on the first day they did everything very quickly and obediently. We watched the news, waited for calls. We had everything turned on all the time TV,” said the first lady.

Focus previously told that the country’s first lady has not left the territory of Ukraine since the beginning of a full-scale war. At the same time, she moved from place to place with her children. For security reasons, the security forbade the President's wife from the first day of the Russian invasion to access social networks.
