The new Aiways U6 was developed by the famous Japanese designer Ken Okuyama, the author of the Ferrari Enzo and Maserati Quattroporte. However, in appearance, the electric crossover turned out to be very similar to the Lamborghini Urus. It has a sloping roof and a pronounced “nose” with thin LED headlights. However, the dimensions of the Chinese crossover are more compact.
The cabin has a small virtual instrument panel and a large 14.6-inch touchscreen. Trunk volume is 472 liters. The list of options includes adaptive cruise control with a semi-autonomous mode for congestion.
The Chinese Aiways U6 crossover was offered with a 218-horsepower electric motor. It accelerates to 100 km/h in about 7 seconds.
At first, a version with a 63 kWh battery was proposed – with a range of 400 km. However, crossovers with 72 kWh and 88 kWh batteries are also offered in China – the power reserve is 580 and 650 km, respectively. You can charge an electric car in fast mode by 80% in 30 minutes.
