Irish police are about to interrogate the 46-year-old mother of an 8-year-old girl from Ukraine, who was stabbed more than 70 times in a refugee center in Claircastle ( County Clare). This is reported by Euronews.
A young Ukrainian woman is in the intensive care unit of a Dublin hospital, her condition is assessed as stable but critical. On Tuesday, in an apartment building on the outskirts of the city of Ennis, where refugees from Ukraine were accommodated, a girl was stabbed with more than 70 stab wounds. The mother of the girl, who was found unconscious lying nearby, is in a Limerick hospital. After the woman's condition improves, the police will interrogate her.
Some other residents of the refugee center, where 15 citizens of Ukraine live, heard screams and called the police, law enforcement officers who arrived at the scene witnessed a horrific scene. It is reported that even the doctors who provided first aid to the girl were shocked. She had multiple injuries, including in the neck.

One of the residents heard screams, tried to enter the room, but could not, after that he went outside and through the window saw a child with serious injuries, and then called the police. Some other residents also witnessed the scene where this incident took place.
