Dmitry Konoplev underwent xenon treatment in one of the Moscow clinics. The preliminary cause is heart failure.
On Friday, July 22, Dmitry Konoplev, managing director of the Academician Arkady Shipunov Design Bureau for Instrumentation, died in Moscow under completely unclear circumstances. This was reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
Konoplev died during a xenotherapy session at the Xeospa clinic. There he underwent a procedure of inhalation of the inert xenon gas. According to Russian media, in this way the director of the design bureau allegedly tried to cure a headache and anxiety disorder.
Konoplev felt ill right during the session with a mask on his face. Despite the efforts of doctors, the man died.
The preliminary cause of death of the director of the Tula defense enterprise was acute heart failure. Konoplev was 46 at the time of his death.
It is known that since April 2008 Konoplev served as deputy head of the Federal Agency for the supply of weapons, military, special equipment and materiel. In July 2012, he was appointed head of the Academician Shipunov Instrument Design Bureau.
