Meet Joshua Hutagalung – a simple undertaker and father of three children from Sumatra. On the next fine day, a man was planing a coffin in his yard, when suddenly, he heard a strange hum. Then the walls shook and it seemed to him that a tree had fallen on the roof of the house. But it turned out to be a big and incredibly hot stone, you couldn't even touch it with your hands. Joshua and his wife dug up a mysterious cobblestone with a hoe. At that moment they did not yet know that the next day they would wake up as millionaires, writes The Sun.
The roof of his house was hit by a meteorite weighing 2.2 kilograms. Hutagalung sent the “find” for examination and experts said that this space stone is at least 4.5 billion years old and “may contain elements that can reveal the secret of the origin of life.” The buyer was found almost immediately. It was the meteorite expert Jared Collins, who paid $ 1.8 million for the stone. He then resold the meteorite to American collector Jay Piatek, who donated the stone to the Center for the Study of Meteorites at the University of Arizona.
The meteorite turned out to be extremely rare – it is classified as CM½ carbonaceous chondrite. Thus, the 33-year-old undertaker at one point became rich. Happiness literally fell from heaven to him. But Joshua said he has no plans to retire yet, as there is no other undertaker in his community. But in the future, he will go on a well-deserved rest and will spend more time with children. Hutagalung noted that it was a “divine sign”, so he donated part of the money he earned for the construction of the temple. The man also noted that after this incident he will definitely have a daughter.
