Officers were called to a home near Heather Street on Saturday morning due to a disturbance, police said in a statement.

Inside, officers found two people who were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not provided any further information on the cause or nature of the deaths.

Investigators say there is no risk to public safety as they believe this to be an isolated incident.
