The auction is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the release of the first film about 007.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the release of the first film about James Bond, and for this occasion, the auction house Christie's and EON Productions plan to hold a charity event in September a two-part auction, and at the end of the month, the BFI organizes a series of dialogues and screenings. Then, shortly before James Bond Day in October, British singer Shirley Bassey will perform at a retrospective concert at the Royal Albert Hall, according to Deadline.

The 60 Years of James Bond auction will feature 60 iconic lots celebrating all 25 films in the franchise. The live auction will take place in London on 28 September and the online auction will run from 15 September until James Bond Day on 5 October. The highlight of the live auction is a white birch Aston Martin DB5 stunt car, one of eight replicas that were built for No Time To Die and are valued at £2 million.

A total of 25 lots are up for sale from this picture, as well as six each representing each of the actors who played the super agent: Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.
