The actress maintains a great shape, but is not enthusiastic about surgical interventions
The other day, the 84-year-old star of the movie “Barbarella” and “aerobics queen” became the face of the H&M advertising campaign move. Jane Fonda admitted that she continues to play sports, but does not welcome plastic surgery. Vogue writes about it.
She did not talk about whether she had plastic surgery for a long time, but in an interview she nevertheless admitted that she had all the circular facelifts, which she is not very proud of.
84-year-old Jane Fonda told Vogue that “wouldn't do it” if I went back in time.
“I had a facelift and stopped because I don't want to look distorted. I'm not proud that I had it”, — admitted the actress.
Jane had one facelift when she was 40 years old, the second in 2010. Since then, according to the actress, she no longer used the services of plastic surgeons.
“I did it. I confess, but then I add: you can become addicted to it. Do not continue this path. Many women , as I know, are addicted to plastic procedures,” said Jane Fonda.
“I'm almost 85, but I don't look that old. I want to make young people not be afraid of old age, help them understand that when they reach a certain age, this does not mean that they have to give up life, give up fun, give up that to make relationships and new acquaintances and not do what you like,” the actress said.
Then Jane admitted that she does not hesitate to tell people about her age.
“Yes, I am Jane Fonda. I have money, I can afford a trainer, plastic surgery, facials. I can afford things that will help me look younger. It's true. Money helps. Good genes and a lot of money, as someone once said,” the two-time Oscar winner said candidly.
And, most likely, Jane’s good genes played a role. She admitted that she doesn't spend much time looking after her appearance.
But she tries to moisturize her skin, sleep a lot and move a lot.
“And I have good friends who make me laugh. Laughter is good too,” said the actress.
Recently, Jane Fonda starred in an advertising campaign for the new brand H&M Move. It's not like the swimsuits and aerobics leggings that Jane Fonda once made fashionable, but she noted that the clothes she tried on were comfortable.
