The new collections of designers have an updated version of the animal print. Birds, pets and even oysters are depicted on clothes.
Animal print has been at the peak of popularity among designers in the last couple of years. The spring-summer 2022 collections have made it one of the main trends. Moreover, the tiger print, adapted to everyday style, was considered the most fashionable.
In the new season, the designers went further and decided to offer connoisseurs an updated version of the fashionable solution. According to some experts, animal print can be more than just wild animals. Images of birds, domestic cats, dogs and even oysters on hoodies, dresses, jeans, bags, shoes are clearly a hit of the new season.
This solution is offered by designers Celine, Loewe, JW Anderson in the fall-winter 2022 collections.
Spanish fashion house Loewe captivated its fans in the new season with silk shirts and cat-print high-waisted jeans. In addition to clothes, the brand presented cat-themed accessories – massive pendants with animal heads and bags in the form of cats.
Some designers offer fashionistas not only clothes with the image of animals, but also accessories in the form of animal figurines. So one of the most extravagant solutions of the British fashion house JW Anderson, which delighted fans, is a clutch in the form of a dove worth 650 pounds. The handbag went on sale on July 20.
The Pigeon Clutch is very realistic and could easily be mistaken for a real bird. A life-sized pigeon should be held in hands, clasping the bird by the neck – no straps or handles are provided for the clutch.
To put things in your bag, you need to lift the right wing of the dove, which is mounted on golden hinges with a magnetic closure and the JW Anderson logo on the underside.
Anderson himself noted that he created collection during the pandemic, which forced him to rethink his work and take life easier. The designer wanted to create bright, slightly infantile things in the style of dopamine dressing. And he succeeded.
Focus previously wrote that Gucci Décor presented a new collection of furniture and interior items with animal and floral prints. The designers admitted that nature itself became a source of inspiration for them.
