The Joint Coordinating Center for the Grain Corridor has started its work in Istanbul

Employees of this Center will inspect ships with Ukrainian grain, which is transported from the ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny.

In Wednesday, July 27, in Istanbul, the opening ceremony of the Joint Coordination Center (JCC), which was organized to control the transportation of grain from Ukrainian ports, took place. This was reported by Anadolu Agency.

The event was attended by Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.

This center operates on the territory of the Turkish National Defense University. In addition to representatives of Turkey, Ukraine and Russia, diplomats from the UN work in it.

Employees of this Center are supposed to inspect ships with Ukrainian grain, which is transported from the ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny.

Hulusi Akar noted the importance of ensuring the supply of 25 million tons of Ukrainian grain to countries that have to purchase agricultural products.

Regular grain supplies, according to him, will help reduce food prices and solve the food problem.
