The initiative to declare wine as a “national drink” had been promoted by Domínguez in his previous term at the head of the Ministry, through a decree of the former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner signed on November 24, 2010.

They participated in the event José Zuccardi, President of the Argentine Wine Corporation, Martin Hinojosa, from the National Institute of Viticulture (INV); and Patricia ortiz, from Bodegas Argentinas.

In the morning, Domínguez and Uñac also led the opening of the national days of “Wine Tourism”, which also had the presence of the Secretary of Tourism Promotion of the Nation, Yanina Martinez; and the head of the Argentine Chamber of Tourism, Gustavo Hani, which together with Zuccardi signed a mutual cooperation agreement between the Argentine Wine Corporation and the entity that brings together national tourism.

At the event, Domínguez and Yanina Martínez signed a letter of intent between the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, and the National Tourism Ministry.
