It just came out! Julien Doré and Clara Luciani’s new music video “L’Ile Au Lendemain” has just been unveiled and we tell you more.
“L’Ile Au Lendemain” is one of the collaborations that appear on Julien Doré’s album Loved, ranked number 7 on top albums last week. Loved it’s the first name of her grandmother, a 99-year-old woman who fought all her life for the rights of the widows of minors in her region. But it is also the first name of her mother who for years welcomed battered women in her region and helped them to find new homes away from this violence. It is therefore an album dedicated to a generation of Women and who better to collaborate on this album than the former singer of the group La Femme: Clara Luciani. The two artists met last September and today unveil the clip, all in simplicity, of “L’Ile Au Lendemain”.
Nothing to do with his latest music video of “We” where the singer is surrounded by dinosaurs, here he chooses a single aquatic setting. Julien Doré holds the microphone, while Clara Luciani accompanies him on the piano, all with your feet in the water. Goodbye colors, and hello black and white purity! And we necessarily in the editorial, we can not help but draw the parallel with his clip of “Sublime & Silence” and that of Clara Luciani and Vladimir Cauchemar which were also in black and white. So is the no color the new color ? In any case, we love it! And for even more musical discoveries, discover our music of the week recap.
