Kohl's and Target offer great discounts for teachers and students

Kohl’s is offering a 25% discount to educators and school staff from Friday, July 15th through Sunday, July 17th.

Department store chain said teachers, kindergarten and preschool teachers, high school educators and school staff are eligible with valid ID.

Meanwhile, Target is bringing back an expanded version of its popular Teacher Prep event from Sunday, July 17 through Saturday, September 10. The company said educators can save 15% on school supplies and more. The promotion will take place as part of the Target Circle loyalty program.

“All teachers, teachers in kindergartens and early childhood centers, university or college professors and teachers of vocational schools” are eligible to receive discounts with valid ID.

The company said Target is offering a one-time discount to college students, among other things. Through September 3rd, eligible students can save 20% on a single purchase.

Target recently announced plans to cancel orders from vendors, especially home and clothing items, and further price cuts to clear stock ahead of the critical fall and holiday shopping seasons.
