In the US city of San Diego Diego, Calif., a funny thing happened during a light show. Due to a computer glitch, all the pyrotechnics started at the same time, causing the show, which was supposed to last 18 minutes, to end in 25 seconds. A video with eyewitness comments posted on Reddit.
According to the American media, the light show was supposed to take place simultaneously in five places – at four points in San Diego Bay and at the Imperial Beach pier. It is reported that thousands of people came to watch the annual $100,000 light show, wading through traffic for hours.
However, when the show started, it turned out to be quite short – due to a malfunction in the computer program, the rockets launched at the same time and the entire show ended in less than 30 seconds.
On the footage, you can see that the audience was initially interested in the incident, but the activity of the fireworks scared some of the girls, who began to run away from the water.
In the comments, some eyewitnesses are outraged by the time spent, while others joke that they would not survived looking at rocket explosions in the air for 18 minutes.
“People have spent hours just wading through traffic and fighting for a good seat beforehand, only to see all the fireworks burn out in less than a minute,” writes one user.
“To be honest who can stand 18 minutes of fireworks?… I could casually look at fireworks, but I would pay money to see someone screwed up like that,” write others in the comments.
Studio Roosegaarde in the Netherlands on May 20 22 years old said that the designers managed to create a silent fireworks “Spark”, reminiscent of the flight of fireflies. Fireworks are made entirely of organic materials, so they do not harm the environment.
