In social media, Lech Wałęsa announced the death of his cousin. His entry was supplemented by the former president with a photo taken at a gas station. For the photo, the former president posed with people he met by chance. Some Internet users did not leave the legendary leader of “Solidarity”.

“Mr. President, this is promoting your person, zero seriousness of the situation on the way to your sister's funeral … Shame” – wrote one of the Internet users. Someone else asked if Wałęsa had mistaken the photos.

However, there was no shortage of people who did not mind the photo at all and limited themselves only to expressing condolences to Lech Wałęsa. Later, Wałęsa's profile also featured a photo from the funeral of his cousin. The funeral ceremony took place in Włocławek.

Lech Wałęsa recently met with Marianna Schreiber, supporting the party We've Had Enough 2023. “I support this initiative and will be watching whether you are really putting the future of Poland, Europe and the world in order,” said the former president.

Wałęsa emphasized that new orders and initiatives are needed in Polish politics, but not only. Some time ago, he also revealed that he will most likely vote for Szymon Hołownia's party in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
