Home automation is no longer reserved for wealthy technophiles. By launching the new version of its Enki application, Leroy Merlin democratizes access to a smart home capable of automatically optimizing its energy consumption. This development marks a turning point for the brand, which had already won over thousands of homes with its first version.
At the heart of this new version, Enki's Energy Coach transforms our relationship with energy consumption. This innovative feature analyses the household's consumption habits in real time and offers personalized adjustments. The system goes further than simple monitoring: it detects consumption anomalies and suggests immediate corrective actions.
The strength of the Energy Coach lies in its ability to adapt to the specificities of each household. It takes into account the surface area of the home, the number of occupants, and even the hours of presence to optimize heating and lighting. Users can track their progress through an intuitive interface that compares their consumption to that of similar households.

The application will be enriched in February 2025 with a local weather feature. This innovation will make it possible to anticipate climatic variations and automatically adapt heating or air conditioning, generating additional savings estimated at between 10 and 15% according to initial tests .
200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000The new version of Enki not only lowers bills. It now includes complete monitoring of the quality of life in the home. Connected sensors continuously measure the temperature, humidity and air quality in each room. The system sends alerts in real time when it detects anomalies, allowing rapid action to be taken to maintain a healthy environment.
The Configuration Wizard represents another major innovation. Gone are the days when programming the heating was a headache. A simple questionnaire on lifestyle habits now allows the application to automatically create personalized programs. The system continuously learns from user preferences and refines its settings for optimal comfort.
Enki's extensive compatibility is one of its main assets. The application communicates with more than 500 connected objects from 25 different brands, including market leaders such as Philips Hue, Somfy or Netatmo. This openness allows users to gradually build their home automation installation without being trapped in a closed ecosystem.
Laurent Glaser, Director of Connected Home Prospective and Strategy at Enki Leroy Merlin, underlines the ambition of the project: “We are sustainably transforming our customers' daily lives by giving them the means to reduce their energy footprint without compromising on their comfort.“
Available for free on Android and iOS, the new version of Enki represents a significant step forward in the democratization of the connected home.
