“It's a bad budget” , declared the vice-president of the RN. “There are no more issues. The die has been cast” , he indicated, referring to the PS's decision not to censure the Bayrou government. Note that without the votes of the socialists, the motions of censure are almost doomed to failure.

The “survival” of the government
La France insoumise filed two motions of censure this Monday after François Bayrou triggered, on two occasions, article 49.3 to pass the State budgets of Social Security.
As for the draft finance bill for 2025, “it is the entirety of public action that the Bayrou government chooses to threaten” , indicated the signatories of this motion, pointing out the “25 billion euros of reduction in public spending” , note BFMTV .
As regards the Social Security financing bill, “not voting for censure amounts to giving one's confidence to a government that is playing for its survival to perpetuate a policy of budget cuts, to the detriment of the health system and the needs of our fellow citizens” , the signatories stressed.
