Loto-Québec employees ratify the agreement reached last week
Employees were back at work since Wednesday of last week.
Loto-Québec workers ratified 96% of the x27;agreement in principle reached last week, the Crown corporation announced Monday.
The new collective agreement will be in effect until December 31, 2027, a specified Loto-Québec in a press release, without giving further details.
The 455 workers represented by the Syndicat des professions Members of the Quebec government had been on strike for a few days before the conclusion of the agreement, which took place last Tuesday. They had been back to work since Wednesday of last week.
Employees affected by the new agreement work in information technology, communications, procurement, sales and marketing, finance, real estate and Loto-Québec's legal department.
A first agreement in principle was reached between the two parties on August 25, but had been rejected in a proportion of 72%.
