President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who during his recent visit to Moscow did not become the next master of the Kremlin Vladimir Putin, said his country is “only ally” Russia, “involved in all wars and conflicts”.
As reported by BelTA, Lukashenka stated during a meeting with activists of the Minsk region. The Belarusian President, speaking about the geopolitical situation, said earlier the EU “nasty” and imposed sanctions, but then he began to establish relations that Belarus “is finally noticed by the Americans.”
“We are a sovereign, independent state entitled to conduct its internal and foreign policy. I proceeded first of all from this, knowing that sandwiched together between a rock and a hard place: on one side Russia, on another — the European Union, and the boiler, which constantly stirs us from the South, warring Ukraine”, — Lukashenka said and added: “Russia is embroiled in all wars and conflicts. In addition there are very serious internal problems. They are associated with a serious drop in hydrocarbon prices, besides they have a political pandemic “zeroing”, the new Constitution”.
Calling Belarus “the only ally of Russia”, Lukashenka said that Russia is pushed to the European and Ukrainian markets, and in these conditions she can’t lose Belarus: “They are to fight against us? We have Russia in the second gas buyers after the Germans, we recycle a huge amount of their oil. Of course, they do not want to lose Belarus and economically. But most of all politically. Losing Belarus is a severe blow to Russia’s domestic policy”.
As previously reported “FACTS”, after his return from Moscow Lukashenko that the Belarusian Constitution requires changes on the transfer of powers down.
